Questions, answered clearly

Before you begin.

Here are answers to common questions about BloomHart's planned telehealth service. Specific care recommendations are made only after a clinical evaluation.

Who can receive care through BloomHart?

BloomHart is designed for people ages 12 and older. Whether care is appropriate depends on individual needs, patient location, clinical fit, and current availability.

Is BloomHart an insurance-based practice?

No. BloomHart is currently self-pay only and does not bill insurance. You may ask your insurer whether it offers out-of-network reimbursement; reimbursement is never guaranteed.

What happens at the first appointment?

The first appointment is a psychiatric evaluation. It focuses on understanding your concerns, history, goals, and appropriate next steps. A treatment recommendation, including medication, is never automatic.

Can a parent or caregiver participate?

For minors, caregiver involvement, consent, privacy, and communication are handled according to applicable law and the practice's final policies. The approach is discussed through the secure intake process.

Can I join a telehealth visit while traveling?

Maybe not. You must be physically located where the provider is authorized and where the practice is available at the time of the visit. Location is confirmed before care.

Can I use this site to share health details?

No. This public site does not collect protected health information. Please use only the approved secure process when it becomes available.

What if I need urgent help?

BloomHart is not an emergency or crisis service. If there is immediate danger, call 911, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency department.
